Our Mission
We believe that discipleship is central to Christ's message of the Good News of the Kingdom of God. Reclaiming what it means to be Christ-followers, by implementing the principles and practices He taught us, will bring about lasting life-change and spiritual offspring. DEM seeks to educate, inspire, equip, and train everyday followers of Christ to adhere to the will and ways of God our Father, thus becoming more like Christ in our inner person and outer practice.

Three Dimensions of the Gospel

April 26, 2018Seth Ebel

A few Saturday’s ago I felt a prompting. It wasn’t an audible voice, but something inside me said I needed to pray for a particular guy within our church family. Can you relate to feeling a prompt in your spirit — either to pray for someone, speak up at a certain moment, or just respond…

Practices That Change Behaviors & Thinking

June 14, 2017Seth Ebel

Disciple making best takes place within a Hebrew understanding of knowledge. What I mean is that we need to take the whole person into account if we are to see authentic transformation in those whom we disciple. Education needs to happen in the context of “real life.” The way we do this is the way Jesus Christ asked His followers to…

Getting into Rhythm

May 24, 2017troy

The Jewish people who adhere to the rituals for their faith have a rhythm to their spiritual life. They repeat the Shema (Deuteronomy 6:4) at least three times a day, affirming that God is sovereign over all of life. “20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” – Proverbs 13:20 KJV Think about it. It’s common knowledge that, in order to grow in a particular field, we must rely on others who know more than us. So why would our growth in Christ be…

The Kingdom of God is Upon Us!

March 24, 2017Seth Ebel

The kingdom of God has at least three necessary components: There is a King –> The Lord Jesus Christ There are subjects of the King –> Christ’s followers and… There is the King’s territory –> Anywhere the rule of the King is extended We also see from Scripture that there are three dimensions of God’s…

What is The Kingdom of God?

March 22, 2017Seth Ebel

Jesus told His disciples that he spoke in parables regarding the mystery of the kingdom of God in order to make it more challenging for the casual seeker (Matthew 13:11-13). He was looking for men and women who were truly motivated to obey God (2 Chronicles 16:9). Though Jesus shared these kingdom truths with cloaked…

The Promised Seed of the Woman

December 1, 2016Seth Ebel

The Promised Seed of the Woman “The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham” – Matthew 1:1 KJV In 2 Timothy 3:16 Paul writes, “All Scripture is God breathed…” Awhile back a young man in one of my groups commented about this verse.  He was struck by the word, “All.” This…
