Our Mission
We believe that discipleship is central to Christ's message of the Good News of the Kingdom of God. Reclaiming what it means to be Christ-followers, by implementing the principles and practices He taught us, will bring about lasting life-change and spiritual offspring. DEM seeks to educate, inspire, equip, and train everyday followers of Christ to adhere to the will and ways of God our Father, thus becoming more like Christ in our inner person and outer practice.

Islam At Our Front Door
Written by Dale Ebel

[Lamentations 4:12-13 AMP] – 12 The kings of the earth did not believe, nor did any of the inhabitants of the earth, That the adversary (oppressor) and enemy could enter the gates of Jerusalem. 13 Because of the sins of her [counterfeit] prophets and the wickedness of her [unfaithful] priests, who have shed in her midst the blood of the just and righteous;

How Is Islam Infiltrating Countries?

A Time-Worn Tactic: If You Can’t Beat Them, Infiltrate Them

In every country in Europe, and also in the United States, the infiltration of Muslims comes through left-leaning immigration policies (namely those of the Democratic Socialist movement within the Democratic Party) and through the false understanding that the ideology of Islam is a religion of peace. Romanticizing past enemies seems to be part of human nature. Look at the romanticizing of Nazism today in parts of Europe, and the romanticizing of Islam here in the United States since 9/11.

Why does the Lord God add the last six words to His introduction to the Ten Commandments in the Exodus account?

[Exodus 20:2 LSB] – 2 “I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

Why are the words “house of bondage” (KJV) used to describe Egypt? The Hebrew literally says “house of slaves.” Did the Israelites need to be reminded that Egypt was a house of slaves?

I would argue the reason is to prevent the Israelites from ever romanticizing Egypt, which is precisely what they did as they traveled through the desert and encountered difficulties (look to Exodus 16:3 and Numbers 11:5). The Lord God thought they needed to always remember that Egypt was a house of slaves.

People who live in liberty tend to forget such things, both when the going gets tough and when things are at ease. For example, many people who lived under communism and hated its totalitarian suppression of all individual freedoms eventually came to romanticize it. (Stalin, the killer of tens of millions of Russians and other Soviet citizens, remains a popular figure among many Russians.) This is just as the Israelites came to romanticize Egypt. To prevent this, God appends the words “house of slaves.” I think we can also receive this warning regarding Islam. Consider the catastrophic acts of terrorism, not only on the Twin Towers but throughout modern history: radical Islam has been at war with us for years. I counted 13 such terror attacks, domestically and internationally. We are living in an age in which we are romanticizing and minimizing the militaristic aspects of the ideology/religion of Islam. It behooves us to be more objective, evaluative, and knowledgeable about the falsehoods being foisted on our present culture.

There clearly is an appropriate balance between wise love and rigorous discernment.

Is Islam a Religion of Peace?

Islam is one of the three monotheistic religions, the others being Judaism and Christianity. However, even though Islam rests ultimate authority in god (Allah) and in his word, the Qur’an, it has failed to produce liberty. Why is this the case? One factor is that Islam denies that Yahweh God became man through the incarnation of Jesus Christ to establish His rule and His Kingdom. If God does not come to establish His Kingdom, then we have no option but to be ruled exclusively by sinful men. Islam has never been able to foster a reformation that could undermine human totalitarianism, because it rejects the very notion of God coming to establish His Kingdom.

A modern example of this is what has transpired in Iran in the past year. Iran is ruled by Islamic clerics who have literally massacred thousands upon thousands of dissenters against the present regime. This has essentially been ignored and dismissed by the leftist-oriented media complex, not only in the United States but in the broader world. The UN is another case in which the glorification and romanticization of the barbaric ideology of Islam is accepted.

Simply look at modern-day France and other countries in Europe. The radical encroachment of Islam is alive and well and advancing, because leftist political platforms allow Islam free rein. There is simply no notion of peace with Islam. It is dominance and ruthless, barbaric control rooted in intimidation and fear. Our socialistic and leftist politicians promote soft, tenderized versions of globalism, misplaced empathy, and indiscriminate immigration, resulting in opening the doors to Sharia law. Across Europe, the invasion of Islam is transpiring.

Look to my article on page one of my blog, page one, dated July 20, 2026, titled “Suicidal Empathy.”

I believe that in the next five years (if not sooner), THE central concern for America and for the People of the Book, Christians and Jews, will be the threat of Islam! This statement might seem like an exaggeration, but historically, everywhere Muslims have controlled a country, violence, murders, beheadings, control, and submission to the ways of the Qur’an emerge to the surface and dominate the society.

I am asking you, as a Christ-Follower, to become educated about what is happening right before our eyes with the influx of Muslims into many countries, and specifically into political positions in places such as New York and Minnesota. If our security, safety, and peace are disrupted, we will have little chance to exercise our Faith with the freedoms we have enjoyed here in America since the founding of this great country (1 Timothy 2:1-2).

1 Timothy 2:1-2 NLT, “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.”

Many scholarly works emphasize the theological doctrine of Islam, but not what Islam’s actual out workings have been like in past cultures and in present-day countries. The proof of anyone’s beliefs or ideology is measured by the results of that Faith (or, in Islam’s case, that ideology), as demonstrated in its actions. Jesus Christ instructed us to discern between truth and error, and to recognize false prophets and their message in accord with Scripture.

Matthew 7:17-20 NLT, “A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.”

By clarifying the negative aspects of Islam, I am attempting to create a culture of discernment and confident boldness, not a culture of fear. However, I associate with many Christians who believe our primary response ought to be exclusively one of love. They define love as acceptance and compliance, demonstrated in so-called compassion for Muslims entering our country. Jesus Christ was a person of compassion, and so we should be also, but He coupled that care for people with discernment, objectivity, and wisdom, and He clearly did not yield to evil.

Matthew 10:16 KJV, “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.”

Now more than ever, we must NOT have a myopic view of the world or our culture. We must have the ethos (characteristic spirit) of the sons of Issachar (look to 1 Chronicles 12:32), who understood the times in which they lived and knew what to do for their country, Israel. We also must be astute to the times we live in and must act with holistic behaviors, individually as Christ-Followers and collectively as a nation and for our nation. We must understand the whole Bible and interpret it correctly, understanding which passages are meant to be applied personally and which ones are meant for the civil government. The Founders’ Bible, pages 161–162, is very instructive in this regard, giving us understanding of the four different spheres that Scripture addresses.

[Luke 12:54-57 NLT] – 54 Then Jesus turned to the crowd and said, “When you see clouds beginning to form in the west, you say, ‘Here comes a shower.’ And you are right. 55 When the south wind blows, you say, ‘Today will be a scorcher.’ And it is. 56 You fools! You know how to interpret the weather signs of the earth and sky, but you don’t know how to interpret the present times. 57 “Why can’t you decide for yourselves what is right?

Applications from This Short Teaching

#1 Please consider reading one of two small books: Islam Unveiled, by Abdullah Al-Araby, or Islam Unveiled: Disturbing Questions about the World’s Fastest-Growing Faith, by Robert Spencer. I personally spoke to Abdullah Al-Araby, an Egyptian Christian who saw his culture destroyed by Islam. I gave out 300 of his books soon after I left Rolling Hills.

#2 Please ask Christians and your friends who are on the left to consider the ramifications of not voting, or of voting for a platform that will allow the infiltration of Muslims into America.

#3 Please pass this short teaching article on to 10 other people within your sphere of influence.

In Christ,

Dale
