This Sunday You Are Invited to Life Together!
Jesus sometimes talked about the Kingdom of God as though it were a mystery (Mark 4:11). At other times He spoke of it as a present reality (Luke 17:21 and Matthew 12:28). The good news of the kingdom of God was clearly the central message that Jesus consistently proclaimed and which He taught through practical life experiences with His disciples.
Starting this Sunday September 18, I will be teaching on the Kingdom of God in the beautiful home of Alan and Torree O’Kain. They live at 900 Rosemont Rd. in West Linn. See directions below.
We will gather at 6:30 pm the first and third Sundays of each month and going for seven weeks. The dates are as follows:
- September 18
- October 2
- October 16th
- November 6
- November 20th
- December 4
- December 18th
Today in the United States, as well as many other parts of the world, Christianity continues to be in decline. So what’s the solution? I am absolutely convinced that a biblical teaching on the Kingdom of God, and how we as Christ’s disciples are to bring God’s kingdom reality to others, is a major part of the answer. The kingdom emphasis restores the leadership of the Sovereign Savior to His Church. I long with all my heart to see “His kingdom come and His will be done on earth [today] as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) All other kingdoms crumble at the feet of our King who reigns supreme in our hearts and in our actions.
I believe that, in a small way, our Life Together gatherings will help us spread the good news of the kingdom of God in our various spheres of influence. I sincerely hope you will join us!
Living In His Kingdom Rule,
Dale
