Our Mission
We believe that discipleship is central to Christ's message of the Good News of the Kingdom of God. Reclaiming what it means to be Christ-followers, by implementing the principles and practices He taught us, will bring about lasting life-change and spiritual offspring. DEM seeks to educate, inspire, equip, and train everyday followers of Christ to adhere to the will and ways of God our Father, thus becoming more like Christ in our inner person and outer practice.

Dale Ebel Ministries is founded on and committed to three basic approaches to growing followers of Christ through teaching and discipleship: PROCLAMATION, PARTICIPATION and PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION.

A THREE-FOLD APPROACH TO MINISTRY


PROCLAMATION:
Paul told Timothy, his young apprentice, in 2 Timothy 4:2 (NKJV), “Preach the Word!  Be ready in season and out of season.  Convince, rebuke, and exhort, with all long suffering and teaching.” Dale is committed to the life-changing teaching and proclamation of the Word of God.

The Apostle Paul’s Mission statement, which is found in Colossians 1:28,29 (NIV), tells us about the dimensions of teaching and proclamation, “We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all His energy, which so powerfully works in me.”

Dale has taught the Word of God for over four decades, not only with an academic emphasis but also with a practical, real life connection to our daily routines. The integration of logos (written word) and rhema (the applied word) must go hand in hand.  Didn’t even the writer of Hebrews conclude the importance of uniting the Word of the Gospel proclaimed with genuine faith?  Hebrews 4:2 (NIV), “For we also have had the gospel (Good News) preached (proclaimed) to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith.”

This teaching aspect of Dale’s ministry will be carried out in various settings:  seminars, teaching sessions, filling in for pastors on vacation, small gatherings in homes, conferences, and retreats. Please contact the ministry if you desire to have Dale speak at your conference or retreat.  He has various themes he can teach and they will be included here in the near future.

PARTICIPATION:
Dale has a heart for mid-sized gatherings in which people can participate while learning a variety of Biblical truths.  We learn best by doing.

Being a part of the Body of Christ is not a spectator sport.  As followers of Christ, we are to allow the Spirit of God to speak, listen and act through one another to build each other up into maturity in Christ.   Ephesians 4:16 (NKJV) says, “… from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” Harmony, unity, edification and righteousness are the outcomes of committed and submitted followers of Christ as they participate as the living organism of Christ’s Body.

Dale will be planning community sessions in the future where he will teach and the attendees will participate in the learning process.  Check the online calendar that will be posted in the future on this website to see when these are planned.

PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION:
The great command of Jesus in His final hours with His disciples was to go and make disciples of all nations.  Matthew 28:18-20.

The Work of God is never built solely on programs, procedures, and strategies but always on people who know and practice the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit Jesus’ instruction in Matthew 28:19 is an exhortation to His disciples to teach others to observe all that He commanded.  The point of being a follower of Christ is just that, to follow what He said and did.

Some of the necessary ingredients  for transformation are:  Biblical truth, the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, transparent relationships, mutual accountability and obedience. The Core of Dale and Linda’s life experience in Christian Ministry has been and will continue to be discipleship. The desired outcome of any ministry is that Followers of Christ are produced, reproduced and multiplied.  Without disciples being formed there is no Christianity. As the German theologian, Dietrich Bonhoeffer said, “Christianity without discipleship is always Christianity without Christ.”

Dale will be taking time to personally engage men in the discipleship process and teach them to disciple others.  A significant dimension of discipling men is equipping men to be spiritual leaders and influencers in their communities and in their homes.  Linda will also be discipling women but in a more limited capacity.  She is also doing administrative work for the ministry.
