We believe that discipleship is central to Christ's message of the Good News of the Kingdom of God. Reclaiming what it means to be Christ-followers, by implementing the principles and practices He taught us, will bring about lasting life-change and spiritual offspring. DEM seeks to educate, inspire, equip, and train everyday followers of Christ to adhere to the will and ways of God our Father, thus becoming more like Christ in our inner person and outer practice.

Marriage: Interdependence with a touch of Independence Independent behavior is so pervasive in American marriages that most couples need clear guidelines so they can avoid this destructive tendency. March 21, 2010Dale Ebel

More frequently, marital breakups occur when one or both partners lack the skills or awareness to meet each other’s needs.  More often than not, being right or wrong for someone depends not on some mysterious compatibility quotient, but on how willing and able you are to meet that someone’s needs. No matter how healthy one’s…

Sharing the Responsibilities at Bedtime

December 5, 2009Dale Ebel

When Brandon, Heather and Seth were younger, Linda and I each helped in putting our children to bed.  We took turns helping with the basics like brushing and flossing teeth, putting pajamas on and giving baths.  Linda usually helped with homework and we rarely ever watched TV after dinner unless it was for a family…
